Resolution Policy

'Requirements' can include: being instructed to offer an apology; producing a reflective paper; undertaking further training; receiving specific supervision. Failure to complete requirements within the given timeframes, or neglecting to engage will the Resolution Process, may result in practitioners' registrations being terminated in line with the GPsyC's termination policy.
Where conduct is deemed to have demonstated gross misconduct, or is seen to be incompatible with the General Psychotherapy Council's values and ethos, termination of the practitioner's registration and membership will be implemented in line with the GPsyC's termination policy.
