The General Psychotherapy Council (GPsyC) fosters a regulatory environment that's built on compassion, respect and professionalism. Organisations that join the GPsyC become part of a valued body dedicated to protecting the integrity of psychotherapy while supporting the actual individuals who provide this vital work. Becoming an organisational member of the GPsyC demonstrates an institution's committment to high standards and practises, aligning them with a set of principles which intend to guide and support both practitioners and the public.

 

In addition to being affiliated with an independent regulatory body that strives to promote sound psychotherapeutic practises, GPsyC organisational members can benefit from seeking input on ethical and organisational challenges, and have access to conflict resolution and mediation interventions when and if necessary.
